jose this morning. they are looking to get help with applying for temporary legal status in the united states. under new rules by the obama administration. ktvu channel 2 reporter janine de la vega is live with more on what this change means and how people can apply. >>> pam, we are here at san jose university a college that many undocumented youth would love to attend. now in just an hour and a half they will be able to get help by filling out applications to obtain temporary legal status in the u.s.. several hundred people are expected to come to catholic charities in san jose for a workshop on obama's deferred action program. it stops the deportation of many undocumented immigrants that were brought here as children. college students i spoke with this morning have strong opinions why the plan is needed. >> people who have grown up here it wasn't make any sense. their lives are here. they are making progress toward something. i think it's a great program. >> reporter: to qualify for the program, immigrants must prove they came to the u.s. before they were 16 years old or are 30 and y
